I have developed interest in spirituality from the year 2002 after some sudden change in my life condition, consequent to which I started reflecting on various aspects of spirituality like desire, fear, selfishness, acceptance, greed etc. This resulted in my getting transformed from a pleasure seeker to peace seeker. During the end of year 2014, I came across and read some philosophical books and actively started meditation and contemplation. This resulted in my getting transformed from a peace seeker to a researcher in philosophy. While I read and tried to understand the information in the books, I did not believe anything on face value. I always depended on logic. When I did self inquiry about desires, fears and ego, I realized that the common thing about them is giving too much importance during perceptions. When I started reducing my desires, fears and ego, while still continuing on further self inquiry, I realized that I became more peaceful, mindful and intelligent. On further self inquiry, I realized how our mind works based on the relative importance of various aspects of life. I also realized that if we are able to perceive everything with lower intensity, our mind becomes more manageable, peaceful and perceptible to new ideas. On further self inquiry I realized that there was a purpose for all aspects, including the negative aspects. At the right proportions everything that happens is justified. During such self inquires I kept getting ideas about the nature of this universe and our life till everything lead to a conclusion. I realized that in this universe in reality there is only a single ubiquitously present being, which can be called the Brahman. The Brahman can change vision and feel properties throughout its various points in its volume, based on codes of patterns sent to the points. How this happens is known only our real creator or god. Obviously some patterns sent to a point in its space leads to either change in visual affects or feel effects. There is no real movement in the being. The rotation, revolution, expansion of planets and stars along with movements of objects and the changes in senses and movements of beings in them are just changes in the vision and feel codes sent to its various points. The proof for all these except, for how the codes are implemented and transmitted, are in the section, 'Our Reality'.
Later on in my life I learnt how to design our life, irrespective of external situations. I realized that we can perceive everything the way we want by self affirmations. Everything is good or bad only because we decide it to be good or bad. If we have erred in our perceptions about an issue for a long time or if we have some long persisting defects, we need to do regular mental inputs or self affirmations with the correcting statements for long periods, depending on the frequency of incorrect perceptions in the past. This is like applying patches to correct them. Patches are self affirmative sentences which use reverse psychology and is repeatedly inputted to the mind. For example if someone is sad that he or she is poor and want to feel good, he or she must self affirm that being poor is better than being rich. Once this is done we will realize the supporting aspects about being poor like I live with less support than the rich, god loves everyone, for god everyone is equally important, there is more equality than the differences when we consider that the Brahman alone exists, rich are more delusional and poor are more rooted to reality, the poor have less interference from the higher powers, the constraints that the poor faces are more challenging and therefore more interesting to the higher powers, it is only our decision that more money is better that makes us feel that to be rich is better where as in reality there is no difference between rich and poor, rich are actually not happy although they have all the comforts, I am more flexible than the rich, I can face more difficulties than the rich and finally I am sad because, due to my circumstances, my mind decided that to be poor is a bad thing, while there are more advantageous in being poor and psychologically I can still decide that I am the best. We need to understand there is nothing limiting us to work to achieve our goals, even if we have the mindset that being poor is better than being rich. We should perceive goals for exploring our capabilities and not for any end result because the end result of all achievements is to feel good psychologically and that we can achieve by just applying psychological patches mentioned above. Moreover, if we have achieved psychological greatness, no end result should matter because only then we are more important than our outcomes. In the same way like in the example mentioned above, we can apply psychological patches to almost every problem. All we need to do that is to have the supporting knowledge. The supporting knowledge comes mostly from the study of mind, nature of the universe and likely purposes of higher powers.
The realizations in philosophy that I consider very important are as follows:
1. Mind is in better control if we start perceiving everything with lower intensity. Moreover, we will be more intelligent and mindful when we are able to perceive everything with lesser intensity. On the contrary, when the intensity of perception of any aspect is very high, our mind ignores the other relevant aspects, which will lead to incorrect decisions, thinking, feeling and actions.
Only side effect to perceiving with lower intensity is we will not remember our memories after few minutes. We should manage this aspect with keeping alarms and time tables.
2. We can perceive everything the way we want for example we can perceive hardships as better than luxury, poor as better than rich, diseased as better than healthy, stressful as better than calm. Only when we perceive some things as negative they affect us more. Our decisions every moment guide our life more than anything else. If we are able to decide to be calm, peaceful, happy, contended, grateful, accomplished, successful and enlightened every moment there is no room for negative aspects in our life.
3. Mind works based on relative priorities of various aspects of life. Therefore, we must spend efforts in maintaining right priorities for important aspects of life. For example if one gives more importance to the results than his own psychological status, there will be less peace and more anxiety. To relatively improve our psychological status we should downplay the results to such an extent that achieving it is like just drinking a glass of water. Another example will be if we prioritize wealth over health then we will allow our self to burn out working hard. Similarly if we prioritize health over mental or psychological wellness we may worry too much about our minor problems in health instead of just doing what is needed to be done. Besides health, wealth and psychological wellness, we need to prioritize on security so that we are not very vulnerable. Everyone has to give importance to safety aspects as per one's needs. Another aspect is freedom, which is very essential for healthy living. Freedom to think, say and act within proper limits, is a basic fundamental necessity. Since we need many aspects like health, wealth, psychological wellness, family, career, knowledge, skill, freedom, security etc. , which are almost all equally important, we should not give too much importance individually to any of this, because the relative importance of any individual aspect shoukd be low, when all aspects are considered. On the contrary, when the intensity of perception of any of above is very high our mind ignores the other relevent aspects, which will lead to incorrect decisions, thoughts, feelings and actions. Furthermore, we should give more importance to present than the past or the future, to be in line with giving more priority to psychological wellness and knowledge compared to wealth and health. Wealth and health should be a by product of our engagement in life as per the right priorities, rather than an important objective to be met.
4. Only Brahman exists and our body and mind are just illusions created by property changes at its different points. When the body moves, only the coding patterns for visual property moves and when the body feels something the coding pattern for feel property moves parallel to the movement of the body. Therefore what happens to the body is not personal to us and therefore, we should give very less importance to our health issues, while doing what needed to be done for the maintenance of the body, similar to how we maintain an automobile.
5. Anything exists for us individually only when we pay attention to it. We should take a cue from the fact that light behaves differently when it is observed compared to when it is not. Similarly our problems should be thought about only when we are trying to find a solution for them. Having known that all that exists is Brahman and coding patterns in it, why we should brood about anything unless it helps us. Our attention should be more on our daily routine and daily improvements in our psychological status.
6. There is a higher intelligence with tremendous knowledge, which it acquired over millions of years, which oversees the universe. The only reason that we find some things as unfair is only because we take many things personally where as everything is justified at the proportion at which it is happening as the story of life is developed by millions of years of research as may be estimated by the robustness of the design that takes into consideration many aspects like story content, righteousness, learning curve, horror, tragedy, pleasures, pains, imaginations, thrill , seriousness, humor etc. in the right proportion.
7. Our present decisions, thoughts and actions is based on our past inputs as perceptions, external stimuli and higher intelligence. At times the higher intelligence control our decisions, thoughts, feelings and actions based on the story that is evolving, which takes into consideration our past inputs as perceptions and also the past inputs and perceptions of those connected to us. Therefore, we may say that we only have partial free will. We only have control over how we want to perceive everything and not the end results. Therefore, proper mental inputs is the most important aspect in improving our psychological intelligence.
To take advantages of the above realizations regular self affirmations are needed to be applied as patches. These patches should be tailor made to suit our individual requirements.
